School Supplies
WOPM collects school supplies
from the community and corporate donations that are shipped annually
to Monrovia. WOPM assists children who want to attend school
but cannot afford the materials, including books, notebooks, pens,
uniforms and shoes.
Women’s Community Center
The organization has purchased land for
building the Women’s community center. The center will include a
library, computer lab, and provide training in literacy, small
business and financial management.
Education - Sponsor a Child Program
WOPM assists children through
providing tuition costs and books for disadvantaged children.
Although schools pay tuition fees, students are to purchase books,
uniforms and lunches in order to attend.
The children’s sponsors receive
quarterly progress reports that explain the children’s school
performance. Sponsorship opens doors for disadvantaged children that
would otherwise have remained closed.
